Terms of use and user agreement

Big Sky Salvage sells used engines and transmissions. Prices are shown in US dollars. By accessing, browsing, or placing an order request, you agree to these terms. Purchasers must be at least 18 years old. Provide accurate contact and order information, use the website lawfully, and do not submit fraudulent requests.

Products and fitment

Review the listed configuration and mileage. Match the VIN, engine or transmission code, connectors and OEM part number with your technician before ordering. The fitment dialog records your selection; it does not independently verify VIN compatibility. If unsure, call our sales team for help before ordering.

Images marked representative are illustrations, not photos of the individual donor unit. Accessories pictured are not automatically included. Ask our team about included components and donor condition.

Orders and payment

Checkout submits your order request at the displayed parts price and selected shipping charge. We email an order reference and contact you to confirm the order and arrange payment. No payment is collected on this website at present. We do not request card numbers or CVV through this checkout or contact form. Do not send card details by email.

Delivery coverage and charges

We ship within the continental United States. Alaska, Hawaii, the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and other US territories are excluded. Shipping is charged once per order: free to commercial addresses, with or without unloading equipment, and $100 to residential addresses.

Estimated delivery

Estimated delivery is 7–14 business days after order confirmation, depending on location and product availability. Unexpected delays may occur. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

Processing and dispatch

Order processing normally takes 1–3 business days. During this period we confirm availability, perform quality assurance, and prepare the part for dispatch. Processing may take longer during holidays or periods of high demand. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

Available shipping options

We offer standard shipping within the continental United States. Expedited and international shipping are not available. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and other US territories are excluded.

Shipping services

Shipping is arranged through FedEx, USPS, or UPS depending on the item and service. Items shipped directly from manufacturers may or may not require a signature. Engines and transmissions may require freight delivery; tell us whether unloading equipment is available.

Damage or missing items

Keep the product, original packaging, and box. Make a detailed list of damaged or missing items. Notify the carrier immediately and contact Big Sky Salvage within 48 hours of delivery. We will coordinate any carrier pickup after receiving the required information. Do not return anything without our written approval.

After an authorized return is received and inspected, we will process a replacement or credit where applicable. Reporting delivery damage is separate from eligibility for the 90-day limited warranty.

Returns and warranty

Our warranty and returns policy explains the 7-calendar-day return-request window after delivery, customer-paid non-defective return freight, 30% restocking fee unless otherwise agreed, refund timing and 90-day limited warranty. Review it before ordering.

Prohibited actions and intellectual property

Do not collect contact details for spam or unsolicited marketing, use site materials unlawfully, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with website operation. Big Sky Salvage’s original content and designs may not be copied or redistributed without permission. Third-party images, trademarks, licensed materials, and other rights remain with their respective owners.

Availability and listing accuracy

Used-part availability can change quickly. We work to keep listings current, but do not claim a real-time supplier inventory connection. If a listed part becomes unavailable or a listing error is identified, our team will contact you before payment to explain the issue and any available alternatives. We will not substitute a part or change the amount payable without your agreement.

Responsibility and content

To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability is limited to the part purchase price and excludes labor, installation, downtime and indirect losses. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights. Third-party trademarks remain their owners’ property; references to vehicle makes identify product applications, not affiliation.
